Scrivner is a low-cost creation program for manuscripts, screenplays and complex books. As of 12/17/2011 it cost $45.
To my mind, it’s two most important features are:
First, a tool set designed to help writers brainstorm, structure and write complex works, and
Second, an engine that will let the creator output the finished work in a wide variety of formats.
I just bought it, and should begin using it next week. Stay tuned. To see why I got it, a video overview is here.
I intend to list free and low-cost training resources for each software package. This will come eventually, but if I wait until everything is complete, I’ll never go live with this blog.
In the meantime, please include your favorite training resources in your comments.
